Nice! Will be interesting to hear about how long the CR2032 lasts.
I have designed a battery powered sensor board that uses a DHT or Dallas 1-wire sensor that fits inside a plastic enclosure. The sensor board has provisions to run at 3v with a CR2032 battery or at 6v with 2 CR2016 batteries. I am still testing which setup works best. I have included provisions for I2C for other sensors and on onboard SPI EEPROM for OTA programming. ISCP and FTDI headers are also included for programming. This is still a work in progress...but stay tuned! This is a continually improving project.
