If the pinout is the same, then the PCB should work.
Output voltage of boost converter is adjustable and can be set from 2.0v to 5.5v, as per datasheet: http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/22234B.pdf
Minimum operating voltage is 0.35v, and minimum start-up voltage is 0.65v.
The MCP1640C part can be found on DigiKey.
This board is designed to plug easily into a 2.54mm pitch breadboard. Use 2.54mm pitch header pins.
